After a serious road racing accident at Willow Springs in 1996, I was not able to pursue a pro career in the sport due to injuries from the crash. I decided to stay involved in road racing and help all road racers young and old, from vinyl graphics to keep the bikes looking new and put the racers sponsors on the bike with out excessive cost. While road racing I couldn't see spending $50.00 on a pair of pucks for a weekend at the track. I decided to start developing our own pucks, after two years of testing different compounds, we finally came down to two, 1: a soft puck with a lot of feedback 2: a hard puck that slides like a few of the top of the line brands. Wanting to cut cost we decided to go with a one-piece design with the hook or loop attached directly to the puck to eliminate expensive materials. |
